Description
Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep then plateaus at top. Below the top there is a through-hole 1/4" in diameter with a plaster-like substance visible from one side. From the top the heel curve extends 2 9/16" to the seat. The heel has several wooden pegs sticking out on either side. The seat's sides are curved to form the waist then widens from the waist to the joint before tapering toward the toe. The seat has numerous nail holes which follow the last's outline.
