Description

Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep then plateaus at top. Below the top there is a through-hole 9/32" in diameter with a plaster-like substance visible from one side only. From the top the heel curve extends 2 11/16" to the seat. The seat's sides are curved to form the waist then widens from the waist to the joint before tapering toward the toe. The seat only has a slight outline of the sides made by nail holes compared to other lasts in the collection.
