Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep then plateaus at top. Below the top there is a through-hole 1/4" in diameter. From the top the heel curve extends 2 7/8" to the seat. There is a repair in the seat using a dark wood with light-colored wood pegs. The seat's sides are curved to form the waist and widens to the joint before tapering toward the toe. The seat has numerous nail holes which follow the last's outline.
