Description

Tin popcorn pan (a) with lid (b). Pan has a rectangular shape which tapers toward the base. Interior of pan is painted black. Rims are wire rolled. Below rims on each short side is an oval handle 4" x 1 7/8" attached to side by a tin bracket. Above side handles is a set of handles on lid, 3 3/4" x 1 3/4". Lid has a folded lip near one long edge; underside of lid has a 1" lip which keeps the lid in place.

Notes

This pan was used to pop popcorn over a fire; the popcorn was used to make molasses popcorn balls using press 1953.6589.1.
