Description

Vise-like implement for holding expandable oval box molds while bending and tacking oval box bands. Made of iron bar stock iron nuts and bolts, and two machinist's lathe-turned iron or steel cylinders. Vise was screwed to a work surface such that one leg was fixed, allowing other to move back and forth by way of a lever arm and cam.
