Multicolored knitted rug attributed to Sister Elvira Hulett, Church Family, Hancock, MA

Description
Multi-color knitted round rug. Consists of garter stitch knitted strips of graduated widths sewn together to create eleven circles spiraling from the center. Rug is backed with heavy cotton fabric. Some of the rug's design is in the knitting, some carefully applied on top of strips.
