Description
Wood block cut in the form of a left shoe with a removable instep wedge. The last has a square toe. The toe cap finishes at the joint where the instep wedge begins. The last slopes upward and rounds off at the top. Underneath the top is a through-hole. The wedge is then cut in a concave line which flows into the top of the bottom portion of the last. The two are secured together by a metal nail through the top. Below the top of the last, there is a through-hole. From the top, the heel curve extends to the seat. The seat sides are curved to form the waist before growing to the widest point at the last joints then tapering to form the toe. There are zero nail holes in the seat of the last.
