Description
Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep then plateaus at the top in an elongated oval shape. From the top the heel curve extends to the seat. The seat sides are curved to form the waist before growing to the widest point at the last joints then tapering to form the toe. There are a number of wooden pegs concentrated in four clusters down the center of the last.
