Glove form, Hancock, MA
Description
The glove form comprises two light wood halves and a small piece of wood inside. Each half is hallowed out to hold this small piece of wood. (a) is carved into a thumb and pointer finger. The thumb is carved at an angle with all other fingers pointing straight up. (b) is the pinky, ring, and middle fingers. The pinky is 5/8" shorter than the ring finger, which is 1/2" shorter than the middle finger. Each side and palm taper to spindles and then widen just before the end. The ends of the spindles have corkscrew cuts.
