Glove form, Hancock, MA
Description
The glove form comprises two halves and a small piece of wood inside. Each half is hallowed out to hold this small piece of wood. (a) is carved into a thumb and two fingers. The middle finger is longer than the other. (b) is the pinky and ring finger. Each side and palm taper to spindles and widens just before the end. The ends of the spindles have corkscrew cuts.
