Description
1950.124.1 is a single piece of wood with straight sides and round edges, begin to round off about two-thirds of the way and meet at the tip. At the bottom of one face there is a horizontal metal staple. The bottom end is square with a flat face. This makes up the body of the mitten form. 1950.124.2 is a piece of wood carved into the form of a thumb and is 4 7/16" h x 1 17/32" w x 1 3/16" d. Where the thumb meets the body is carved concavely so that it sits flush with the body.
