Description
1950.123.1 is a single piece of wood with straight sides which begin to round off about two-thirds of the way and meet at the tip. Just below the tip there is a horizontal metal staple. The opposite end is square with a flat face. At the center of the face there is a metal staple. This makes up the body of the mitten form. 1950.123.2 is a piece of wood carved into the form of a thumb and is 4 7/8" h x 1 7/8" w x 21/32" d. Where the thumb meets the body is carved concavely so that it meets flush with the body.
