Description

Constructed of white pine with maple knobs and walnut door latches that replace the original latches of metal. Iron butt hinges on doors. Doors frame and flat panel through mortised and tenoned with all joints double pinned. Cut out feet, top a single board with rounded edges proud of the case ends and front. Five interior shelves plus bottom case front and ends originally painted yellow as was interior. Then exterior was painted blue. Blue paint scraped off exposing remains of yellow paint which appears to have been varnished over.
