Description

Peg wheel to mark positions for pegs. The peg wheel stake and surrounding framework are brass. The stake is held within a framework by a metal screw. The stake consists of a cylindrical shaft 15/16" long and a small wheel with seven spikes at one end. The brass framework resembles a chess pawn with a small cuboid piece on top of a sphere. There is a hole bored through the middle of the sphere to accommodate the stake. The framework is set into a turned wooden handle and reinforced by a brass ferrule.
