Edge shave. The metal portion of the edge shave has a thin rectangular shank. The head of the tool curves slightly upward and is split into two tines with a wide slot in between them. The base of the slot feeds into a recessed portion of the head, which follows a similarly curved "V" shape. The tang is set into a turned wooden handle, reinforced by a metal ferrule. The handle has one single and two pairs of turn lines. The turn lines are comprised of small pin points.
