Coopered tub with white pine staves and bottom, ash hoops joined by locking arrow joints (top two) and lap joint (nailed) bottom. Bottom hoop may be a replacement. A stave on opposite sides is higher, forming an "ear" on each side. Each "ear" has a rectangular cut-out for a hand-hold. Aged to a dark brown inside and out.
