Description

Gimlet for drilling small holes in wood. The gimlet is made up of a turned wooden handle and metal piece. The handle is round with a wider middle and flat ends. At its center there are three turn lines. The lines are obstructed by the metal piece, which has a circular butt at the top of the handle and a rectangular tang emerging from the bottom of the handle. The metal is round after the tang until 1 11/16" from the tip where one side of the blade is carved out. The tip of the metal is threaded.
