Braided rug, Hancock or Mount Lebanon
Description
Small oval braided rug. Made up of three strand braids of various fabric rags or remnants. A combination of printed and solid cottons, tweeds, and woolens. Center section lighter in color and slightly more varied (five rows), three rows of blue/red and white, a single row of brown and beige woolens, three more of blue/red and white and edged with two dark rows of black, browns and dark brown tweed.
