Description

A bee escape made of tin-plated sheet metal and blue or black sheet-metal. A strip of tin-plate with rounded ends and a 7/8" diameter hole through center with a stamped strengthening ring has side edges crimped over edges of two blue/black pieces of sheet metal bent to form channels and joined end to end below hole in tin plate. Channels open at either end. Inside channel a bent piece of spring steel is soldered to each side of the channel at juncture of the two-pieces of metal making up the channel.
