Machine of unknown use consisting of a gear driven carriage that moves along parallel gear tracks when the crank handle is turned. The drive shaft also turns another series of gears which would have driven a shaft near the top of the machine that is now missing. The cast iron carriage assembly is mounted on a wooden base of maple, oak, and beech.
Acessioned with three dies, but only one has been located to date.
