Narrow rake with cast-iron, seven-tined head secured to a between-centers turned long handle of hardwood. The rake head attaches to the handle by means of a tang cast onto the head and driven into the handle end. An iron pin holds the tang in place in the handle. A forged iron ferrule surrounds the handle end to prevent splitting of the handle.
