Description

Rectangular cardboard box with wood reinforced rim covered inside and out with wallpaper over fabric. The wallpaper on exterior is green/black and white alternating stripes with designs on stripes. Interior paper alternating light and dark gray stripes with gray designs.

Notes

The box originally bore a label with the text "Sadie Maynard West Pittsfield MA", but the label is no longer present. Sister Sadie moved from the Mount Lebanon North Family when it closed in 1947 to the Hancock community, and lived there until her death in 1953.
