Stoneware crock and lid with salt glaze. Glossy outside and matte dark-brown Albany slip inside. What appear to be diagonal rib marks run around crock to two grooves that run around near the top. Knob and top of lid coated in dark-brown Albany slip. Rest of outside and inside of lid are glossy tan. Inside of lid stained brown.
