Light-colored black ash splint basket. Square, cathead-style base, and circular, split rim with single lashing. Half-round rim on the interior and exterior. Uprights 1/2" - 5/8" wide, weavers 3/8" wide. Open, plain weave base. Double grip "ear" handles, double-notched, made of chestnut. 5/8" wide handles attached on exterior of two corners.
