Description

Pine case of 8 small drawers. All drawers have basswood sides and backs, pine bottoms and fronts, and face-turned walnut knobs. Sides are butted, glued, and nailed to fronts and backs. Top drawer flush and fitted with tiny pegs for spools of thread (48 total but 6 are broken off). Rest of drawers are lipped with beaded edges on fronts. First four from top have 3 3/4" high fronts; last 3 have 4 1/4" high fronts. Drawers are supported by solid pine boards dadoed into ends.
