Handled strained of tin-plated sheet metal consisting of a funnel-like container with a perforated bottom secured to a cylindrical fast. Semi-circular strap handles are soldered to outside of container on opposite sides under wire-rolled rim. Joints are soldered.
The colander was purchased by the donor from Edgar Crete, a caretaker at the Hancock Shaker community.
