Oval box (a) with lid (b). Bands of maple veneer, top and bottom headers of white pine, swallowtails (four on box, 1 on lid) secured by copper tacks, headers held by copper "points" (shoe pegs). Box has been cut down in height; top swallow tail cut in half. Box washed yellow and clear-coated.
