Description

Woven straw and palm leaf bonnet. Seams at front edge and between blinders and crown are 1/4" and 1/2" wide and have been woven in a dissimilar pattern. Gray silk metallic flounce that is pleated at top and attached to bonnet for about 9 1/2". Taupe-colored silk ribbon (2" wide) originates from under front edge of flounce on both sides and forms one loop thats about 30" long. Bonnet is covered with black mesh. The mesh mimics flounces shape. Interior: sides are lined with light, translucent gray silk; crown has lavender silk material hanging by one edge.
