Oval box with sugar maple rims. Two swallow-tails on the box, and one on the lid, secured with copper tacks. White pine headers secured with copper points. Exterior stained or washed yellow and varnished. Approximates a #10 box in an 11-box series. Contains three silkworm cocoons (#2003.3.4c,d,e). Remnants of a round paper label on the outside top of the lid, nothing identifiable.
