Basket inscribed " Chh. Office," Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Circular basket of black ash splint. Uprights: 3/8" - 1" wide and weavers 3/8" wide. Split rim with double lashing. Double grip "ear" handles, double-notched, that come down on outside. Uprights continue downwards, and additional uprights added at bottom to create slightly raised base. Split upright in center 5" diameter. "Chh. Office" hand-painted in black on exterior.
