Turned maple grip mortised to a turned chestnut shaft which is mortised at other end into a yoke of maple and chestnut which holds the posts of the iron "hoe" with iron loops onto which nuts are threaded allowing adjustment of the depth of the hoe. The other end of the yoke has holes through the yoke prongs into which the axle is inserted and two chestnut disks serve as wheels.
