One drawer work table, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Work table of pine and a turned cherry knob on the drawer front. One end apron is butternut. Table supported by four square legs which are tapered on the insides below the apron. Aprons joined to legs (presumably) by unpinned mortise and tenon joints. These joints are reinforced from inside with heavy pine blocks. Top is of two boards held to undercarriage by screws inserted into pocket holes and up through aprons into underside of top. The single drawer is suspended under the top and opens through the wide table apron side. Table has red wash with varnish over.
