Cloth storage roller. Between-centers turned white pine dowel sawn lengthwise through center to form equal-size halves. Leather hinges were mortised into the joint between the halves on one side and the arrises of the opposite sides were rounded over. Ten pins were inserted into one of the halves and holes to house them were drilled into the other half so that the split roller closed tightly.
