Black ash splint basket with square, cat's-head base and circular, split rim with crossed lashing. Half-round rim. 1/2" uprights; 1/16" weavers. Tight, plain weave base of 3/8" splints. 3/8" wide overhead, bonnet-shaped handle attaches to the interior and rises 7" above the basket.
