Description

Wood box of butternut with a pine bottom. Eight miniature dovetails at each corner. Lid secured with brass hinges. Top has applied molding on front and two sides, not on back. Box made from 1/8" wood. A piece of wood applied to top near edge of box to apply hinges. On right side of box near lid and proper right end at lower back appear a "Braided" design; more of this design appears on the proper right end at lower back.
