Description
Copper pan or pot consisting of two half-sides hammered to semi-cylindrical shape in some sort of mold and joined via a sort of open dovetail joint which was then brazed. Similarly, the bottom was hammered to a dome shape and joined to the sides via the dovetail-like joint and brazed as well. A flanged rim fits over the top of the pot and is riveted in place. The inside is tinned. Mounted to one side of bottom, inside is a brass valve for draining pan which has a brass arm attached to the valve handle allowing it to be opened or closed from above the top of the pan.
