Oval box (a) of maple with white pine headers and swallowtails (four on the box, and one on the lid (b), pointing right), secured with copper tacks. Headers held by copper points. Unusual chamfers on the tips of the swallowtails. The swallowtail sides are essentially vertical. Box exterior painted Prussian blue; interior unfinished.
