Description

Square basket (a) and lid (b) of black ash splint. Uprights 1/2" to 7/8" w and weavers alternate between 1/2" and 1" w. Split rim with single lashing. Uprights continue downwards to create base. The lid (b) uprights continue upwards to form top of lid. Single lashing on rim. Sides have designs 5/8" in diameter, are dark maroon, with a "X", as does the top of the lid.
