Section of peg rail with six pegs (one near center cut off). Rail has beaded arrises. All pegs are (one was) between-centers turned birch with round tenons glued into their respective mortises. Rail of white pine. 3/4" of rail length painted brown, rest unfinished. All pegs painted brown over dark brown.
