Lightweight fabric, beige or light tan fine linen or polished cotton (called "Mozambique" by the sisters). Dress (a) almost entirely machine sewn with some hand overcasting at seams and handwork at the buttons and the hook and eyes. Buttons are made of shell. Buttons on dress are faux. The cape (b) closures are buttoned in the "frog" style.
