The knife has a flat spine and a cutting edge which is flat but curves toward the spine two-thirds of the way to form the point of the knife. The wooden handle has two flat sides and two rounded sides, giving the handle a near oval cross-section. The handle has a bulbous bottom and tapers in size as it nears the knife blade.
