Between-centers turned maple shaft with face-turn maple disk and between-centers turned end cap and six hickory dowels 3/16" diameter, steam-bent fitting into holes in side of bulb turned above base of shaft curving up through holes around edge of disk and terminating in holes in underside of end cap.
