Pail painted dark yellow, stamped "D.H.", Second Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Wood pail with two iron bands. Handle fastened into a raised section of the rim, held by wooden pegs which in turn have a small peg through them to hold the handle. The handle is 1" wide at the center and rises approximately 7 1/4" above the rim. Painted yellow-brown.
Notes
The bottom is stamped with the initials "D H," for Elder Daniel Hawkins, who was a trustee for the Second Family for about thirty years.
