Rectangular black ash splint basket with a split rim with crossed lashing. Three cleats 3/4" wide attached to inner and outer base with copper rivets. Uprights measure 3/8" wide and weavers are 3/8". Plain weave. Three braces attached to the base, lengthwise. The overhead, bonnet-shaped handle is double-notched and attached on the interior. The handle measures 3/4" wide.
