Armed rocking chair with rush seat, Enfield, CT
Description
Curly maple rocking chair with arms. Four back slats. Back posts turned with typical elongated Enfield finials, strengthened by wood pins. Mushroom tenon caps on arms. Two stretchers on front, one stretcher on sides and back. Stretchers may be made of oak or ash. Dark stain and varnish finish. Replacement rush seat.
