Description

Handle bending form consisting of a hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) form (5/8 x 4 5/8 x 19 3/8") nailed to a cherry (Prunus serotina) backer board (5/16 x 6 1/2 x 16 1/16"). Top of bending form is rounded and saw kerfs are cut into each side of both backer board and form at 4 3/4" down from top of form. Five finish nails (one missing) are driven into backer to hold handle blank against bending form.

Notes

Used to bend handles for carriers to shape.
