Description

Portion of a temple of maple with the wedge-shaped working end sheathed with steel sheet. The sheet steel extends about 1 1/4" beyond end of wood and the leading edge is cut and filed to form ten points. Shaft is rectangular with a groove along one edge. Four holes are drilled through shaft toward end opposite the working end.
