Square black ash splint basket (a) with split rim, single lashing. Half-round rim. 2" wide uprights, 1/4" - 1 5/8" wide alternating weavers. Lined with heavy brown paper tied to the basket just below the rim. Marked with dark maroon, 1" diameter floral stamps. Lid (b), 2 1/2" high, woven in same pattern as the basket.
