Notes

The Enterprise Chair Company was one of several commercial chair manufacturers making "Shaker" chairs that incorporated some features from true Shaker-made chairs. This chair has vase turnings on the front posts under the arms, arm shapes, and mushroom caps over the through tenons on the tops of the front posts that mimic Shaker characteristics. See blog post on imitators of Shaker chairs, and how the Shakers responded: https://shakerml.wordpress.com/2016/07/06/shakers-combat-knock-offs-with-trademark/
