Description

Oval box lid. Steam-bent maple lid rim with a single swallow-tail, secured by copper tacks. White pine header held by copper points.

Notes

This was used in workshop as a parts tray. Contents include one pound of large copper points, assorted copper rivets, trunk rivets, and burrs, a small quantity of iron tacks, and a box of tinned gimp tacks plus a few tiny copper tacks, a couple of brass escutcheon pins, three wire brads, etc.
